Sean 'Diddy' Combs is currently facing multiple allegations in court, and his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura has delivered a bombshell testimony during the ongoing trial. Her statements have shed new light on the rapper’s alleged substance abuse and behavior during their time together.
Cassie shares details about Diddy's alleged 2012 overdose
Cassie Ventura, who testified over a four-day period, revealed disturbing details about her relationship with Diddy. According to TMZ, during her testimony, she recalled a specific incident from 2012 involving one of Diddy’s infamous Playboy Mansion parties.
She alleged that throughout their relationship, Diddy frequently consumed opiates and other drugs. One such instance, she claimed, nearly turned fatal when the rapper reportedly overdosed on strong painkillers during a party at the Playboy Mansion.
Ventura recounted that before the party, the pair had visited a strip club in San Bernardino. Afterward, Diddy allegedly left her behind and went on to attend the party, which featured several celebrities including Paris Hilton, Too $hort, Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy, and more.
While the gathering was reportedly a glamorous affair, Cassie revealed the grim aftermath. She claimed she had to personally go and pick Diddy up after he overdosed on opiates he had taken at the party. “He had taken very strong painkillers,” she testified.
More updates from Diddy's ongoing legal battle
As the trial unfolds, a number of celebrities have been named in relation to Diddy’s case, including
Michael B. Jordan and Kanye West. However, none have been accused as accomplices. Notably,
Kanye West has continued to publicly support Diddy despite the mounting allegations.
On the same day Cassie testified about witnessing Diddy’s alleged overdose, singer
Dawn Richard also gave her statement. She accused Diddy of physically abusing Cassie, even referencing an incident where he allegedly hit her with a skillet.
In a legal move, Diddy reportedly filed a motion to dismiss Dawn Richard’s lawsuit on the very day of her testimony.
